Here I am
Hi there. I've been away for a few days. Some new stuff happened in the meantime: the "magical" book arrived and I've read a few pages (in case you missed it, I'm talking about The Calculus Lifesaver by Adrian Banner). It's one of the very few math books I've seen that take an easy approach — where the author can loosen up the notation a bit and nobody gets upset. Another book with that quality: No Bullshit Guide to Math and Physics by Ivan Savov. Anyway, so far it's working. I'll let you know how it goes.
More news: I pre-ordered — yes, I know — "Six Maths Essentials: How to Model the World" by Terence Tao. :)
