Guest Editor
So this happened: a mid-ranked (Q2) math journal asked me to be the guest editor of a special issue. Well, first of all: wow! You can't imagine how much even the idea excites me. Nevertheless, I'm going to decline, because I think a role like this belongs to a mathematician. Yes, OK, I'm an AI researcher and I use mathematical methods in my work every day, but still, there are researchers better prepared for it than me. :(
